The DLLE unit of SRIHM conducted a mangrove clean up drive at Nerul on 21st April 2024, in association with Vanashakti. Volunteers armed with gloves and trash bags wade through the tangled roots of the mangrove forest, their determination matching the resilience of the ecosystem they’re protecting. With every piece of litter removed, they restore not just the beauty of the mangroves, but also ensure the survival of countless species that call it home.
