Pasta Masterclass by Michelin Star Chef Andrea Tranchero

It was an absolute delight to have Andrea Tranchero, the Michelin star & Executive Chef of Barilla,
conducting a workshop for the students of Third Year Hospitality studies on 9th October 2023. The
workshop started with Chef Andrea providing insightful information about Barilla's history, Italian
cuisine, and how it has changed over the years. Chef Andrea then demonstrated the preparation of
several types of pastas with different sauces, highlighting how each variety of pasta has its own
distinct flavour. To add to the fun, a quiz was also held at the end and Soham Nagvekar, Krupa
Panchal and Samida Kasabi emerged as the winners and were presented with gifts. To top it off, the
students were gifted hampers and certificates as mementos of this interactive session. We look
forward to having many more sessions with Chef Andrea Tranchero!
