It’s a tradition of the Sheila Raheja Institute Hotel Management that right from the first year, we ensure a healthy interaction between the students and industry professionals. Continuing the trend, the Rooms Division Department organized an interaction on ‘Career Opportunities in Housekeeping’ on 29th August 2022.
We were honored to have Ms. Janaki Das, Executive Housekeeper at the Trident Nariman Point; an industry veteran with 22 years of experience with the Oberoi Hotels, to guide our students.
Ms. Das expressed her views on various career options in the housekeeping industry. She also enumerated attributes required for a housekeeping professional viz. communication skills, physical fitness, an eye for detail and providing service with a smile.
