A Bartending workshop on cocktails titled “Cocktails & Innovative Bartending” was conducted for our second-year students of Hospitality studies and Bachelors in Culinary arts by Mr. Jacob Alexander on the 23rd August 2022 in the seminar Hall.
The workshop began with an introduction of the presenter by Professor Nixon.
The workshop covered various aspects like the History of Cocktails, a description of cocktails and mixed drinks, Architecture of cocktails, how to create cocktails, equipment, and glasses required.
Mr Alexander demonstrated various methods of making cocktails – stirring, shaking, blending and the build-up. He also explained about the latest trends in bartending like Molecular Bartending.
