Hoshang Velati is currently an Assistant Professor at Sophia – Smt. Manorama Devi Somani College, Mumbai, with 22 years of experience teaching Corporate English, Communication Skills, Food and Beverage Service, Organization Behaviour, Event Management, Personal Development and Dining Etiquettes. He has been a ‘Paper Setter’ and a ‘Chairman’ at Mumbai University, leading a staff team to update the old syllabus, move to a credit-based semester pattern and prepare study materials in the subjects of Food and Beverage Service and Communication Skills. His academic achievements include Masters in English and Masters in Tourism Management, BA in Psychology, Diploma in Catering and Hotel Management, Diploma in French, and Impression Management certificates.
